Litigation Paralegals Needed - One Year Document Review Project
PartnerJD is seeking experienced Paralegals for an upcoming One Year litigation document review project starting in January 2018 with our corporate client in Richmond, Virginia.
This project will have a standard 40 hour work week (Monday-Friday). No remote work options or overtime will be available.
Well qualified candidates will have:
- 1-3 Years of prior paralegal or legal assistant experience in a law firm or corporate setting.
- A Paralegal certificate
- High attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication
Here is a brief overview of litigation document review work and what this long term assignment entails:
Document review is performed by Paralegals in anticipation of legal proceedings or during the Discovery phase of litigation. It requires Paralegals to assess the relevance and/or responsiveness of documents using knowledge about the facts of the case and the issues of law. The subject matters can vary, depending on the client. All work is conducted at the law firm or corporate site under the managing attorney's supervision. Prior review experience is preferred but not required for participation.
